They dont match fighters coming off a win with fighters coming off losses. It's very rare.

Expect Mir-Nog II, Kongo certainly doesn't deserve another shot at a name

Not judging by what Overeem did during his last fight. Mir is a lot bigger and stronger than Werdum and wouldn't get handled like that.
I wouldnt put much stock into his last fight. Im not sure how you gauge a guy when his oppenent flops 15x a round.

But i think it would be a real test for Overeem. He has fought some pretty meh oppenents lately. Rogers, Duffee, Fujita, Thompson.... Mir is a HUGE step up. i think it would be a great fight. Both fighters are excellent on the ground, Overeem would have the advantage standing but Mir is no slouch.

don't sell yourself short. mir is a tremendous slouch
