MIL Army: If I have 3 overseas service ribbons, do I put a '3' numeral on the ribbon?

    The guy at MCSS said to use a 2 but I think it should be a 3?

    That's what I thought also but when I went to update my ERB today (for different reasons) they said I was missing a bunch of stuff. I never wore an OSR (I was expecting my first when I left Germany) but they said I was entitled to three. Apparently they changed the criteria in the 11 December 2006 revision of AR 600-8-22. (the Army eliminated the policy which had restricted the awarding of the Overseas Service Ribbon when another campaign or service medal is awarded)
