The guy at MCSS said to use a 2 but I think it should be a 3?

That's what I thought also but when I went to update my ERB today (for different reasons) they said I was missing a bunch of stuff. I never wore an OSR (I was expecting my first when I left Germany) but they said I was entitled to three. Apparently they changed the criteria in the 11 December 2006 revision of AR 600-8-22. (the Army eliminated the policy which had restricted the awarding of the Overseas Service Ribbon when another campaign or service medal is awarded)

I'll read it tomorrow and update this thread with my thoughts. If so, I'll be pissed because that will change my ribbon set. Fuck.

Bumping this because I can. Let me give the Oak Leaf a hint, the backbone of the Army.
