For Army: If you go through ROTC in college and get your commission then you go to officer basic course (typically 3 months).

yeah i know about college rotc, i have a degree and almost did rotc for my masters but financially i could not financially just quit and go to college for 2 years with the small stipen they paid plus the army leadership training coarse in fr knox was the biggest fubar i have ever been a part of

so becoming a 90 day wonder (or whatever its called) is my option now, so would i go to basic then to an officer basic or just go to basic then officer job training?

no dude 9 week basic is FOR ENLISTED ONLY. you do officers version of basic and then the officer branch course depending on what branch you do.

You are called a Candidate till you recieve your commission, check that link that i already fuckin posted it has more info than you can handle I guarantee it, it's why the OCS Foundation exists utilize it for the resource that it is, if you look they even help with ways to get money for degree completion(higher level in ur case).

    1. Do you already have your degree?
    2. Are you in college or going to go to college and go into ROTC?
    3. Are you currently enlisted in the army and going to go through OCS?

Are you going to just ignore the questions I asked? Answering those would help people better offer you some solutions as to how to become an officer...

Hmmm the information was already posted and yet I didn't bother to read it and instead asked questions that were already answered and readily available to me?

WOW! I should from now on read things first and then ask questions later :bigthumb:

I wonder if the moral of this story will be found. :joshers:
