235 to 161
wow, very good job. How long did it take?
A little over 5 months or so, I started back in July.
good job man, thats pretty impressive. any pics
any probs with loose skin?
My personal trainer took a pic of me the other day, it's one of those stereotypical "after" pics where you're standing there with your old huge pants on holding the waist up, it's pretty funny, i'll see if I can scan it
Everywhere on my body is pretty tight now except for the way bottom of my stomach just above my waist line and the inside of my thighs. My stomach is 100% flat but at the bottom it looks fucked up because there is this loose flabby shit, the skin is like paper thin so I know it's not excess fat or anything . There's also some loose skin on the inside of my thighs and when I run I have to wear UnderArmor skin tight boxers so I don't get any chaffing .
These two places were also where I had the most amount of fat before I started though, so that's probably got something to do with it since these areas were the most "stretched". My trainer said since i'm still really young my skin has a lot of elasticity (or however the hell you spell it) and over time it'll eventually just tighten up on it's own.
loose skin sucks though
pics of your progress?
good job man. Its funny when i hear people complaining about losing 10 lbs when you lost 74 lbs.
now you can start bulking
GJ man. Thats one of the best accomplishments one can achieve.
2 years ago I went from 245 to 170, so I know how it feels.
nice job, any pics?
congrats broseph, i'm working on losing about the same amount, ~20 lbs into it right now.
amazing, I am working at that goal too, just not 75 pounds, 65, from 225 to 160. I can just imagine how good you feel.
thats fantastic progress...
I don't want to bulk, I want to get lean and develop the type of physique that's most beneficial for running and endurance.
Even though I lost all this weight I still don't look very lean at all for some reason, or mabye it's just in my head.
good luck .
Its almost a year and I still have loose skin.
Same here. Because I carried all my weight around my waist, I have stretchmarks and loose skin. When I position my body in the pushup position, I can see the loose skin hang lower than the rest of my body. It's fucking disgusting, and it's been a long time.
I think I'm just going to have it removed... No idea how many children I'm going to have to sell for that one though..
It's the worst and most noticeable when I do pushups.
congrats bro. keep it up with the strong diet...coming from eating whatever you want to a strict diet takes a long of willpower at first, but once you get used to it you'll have no problem.
we need those pics
