I'm going to need that in the form of a question.
why do baby drills try to act so hard?
Because they are new to the trail and aren't burned out yet?
when I was in basic and AIT i hated e-5 drills with a passion.
We didn't have E-5 drills when I was in basic
E-5 drills...wtf? That's about as bad as letting CPLs recruit.
Meh...I'm just getting to know ppl on here so I'll just ask a few basics....I know how boring CQ can get....had it like every other day in Med Hold....24 hr shifts:
How long on the trail?
Went to Afgahnistan with the 82nd in '02 and Iraq with 1st Cav in '04.
Been on the trail 7 months now...
Hm....82nd.....did you happen to possibly know my old recruiter then by any sort of chance (SSG Steve Hobson)? That dude was the only 11B in the house in the SINY recruiting station and he was the only straight shooter that didn't bullshit the n00b potential enlistees like the other guys did.
Nah, 82nd is a small community but not that small...
You ever "pass through" 3ID @ Ft. Stewart?
Nah, never been to Stewart...
Heh...consider yourself lucky and pray you never come up on orders. Once you're there you never really leave...you can be stationed anywhere else in your career, and still get put back there...multiple times
yeah....it's funny I have heard that every duty station I have been to..
No, I've seen people come back in the 3 1/2 yrs I was stationed there.....seriously....
"Just when I thought I was out....dey pull me back in..."
will you tell us stories from funny things your recruits have done?
I remember my ds.... "DROP DICK!!!!!"
hey quit talking to us, and make ur privates push the earth
Or the stupid things they ask such as looking at his uniform and asking "Drill Sgt, what does DS stand for?"
DS: do the recruits really get liberty on weekends?
We have plenty of E5's as DI's.
Only one of them was a goon.
