I need your help! Hey, I am going to try and run the Shamrock Shuffle here in Chicago in late March and its an 8k. I am new to running long distances, as I am use to lifting more, so I have been going slow so far. On usual I can go about 3 miles or so during a jog but I get pretty winded around then. Anyone know of a good plan to slowly build up endurance with running? How long should I wait between days to run? Anything to help would be appreciated. I really like running though, I hope I can get into more.
