What the fuck is this supposed to prove?
They're too stupid to lay down and die?
If thats it, point taken, I guess
They have promoted events across the globe. They do bring something to the table.
A partnership would make the UFC's expansion into the rest of the world that much easier.
Need anything else explained?
Wow, UFC should be begging to co-promote an M1 Global event.
The UFC just got a ESPN deal in the UK, a huge tv deal in China, a live event just took place in Germany...He plans on going to Japan in Russia. I dont think m1 will be much help
You're fucking stupid
chances of the UFC doing anything that would bring more attention to M-1 such as co promoting an event......not to fucking likely, just a matter of time and M-1 will join affliction and pride
I guess they had stupid on sale, pretty cheap, in Vancouver.
UFC isnt a perfect MMA org., I get that, but if you think they need some second rate- coat tail riding company to get out to other worldwide markets, then there isnt anything I can say here to make you think otherwise.
Heres a hot stock tip, though, buy Enron. You seem to know a good thing when you see one, so you may have already struck before the iron was hot. If so, I apologize.
ZoMg! Super lurker, even.
I guess that about sums it up.
I love Dana.
"He doesn't want to fight the best in the world" should be replaced with "Theyre trying to create another mainstream brand of MMA"
2001 called, they want their joke back
the UFC doesn't need M-1.
M-1 doesn't need the UFC.
just because they held fights in other countries doesn't mean they've established markets there. do they have anything like TV deals in those countries?
how deep are their pockets?
how good are their fighters?
how established is their brand? their name?
do any of the answers to these questions stack up to what the UFC offers?
vancouver bud has gotten to ya bud, M-1 need the ufc. They need other orgs to co-promote cause they dont have the capital/wont invest themselves.
Finkelchtein is the Russian heavyweight’s manager and, more significantly, the president and co-owner of what purports to be a major MMA promotional company, M-1 Global. Finkelchtein clearly used Emelianenko as a pawn in an attempt to force the UFC to accept M-1 as a partner. All M-1 Global brought to the table was one fighter, even if he is a very good one, which would have made White a moron had he acquiesced to that demand.
If the UFC was in the business of giving 50 percent of its company away every time it tried to sign an elite fighter, it would have been in worse shape a lot sooner than Chrysler.
Or at least how he thinks it is. Either way dude doesn't hold back and it's great.
get your tolkien shit out of here, we are talking about mma, not goblins.
^^^toughest dude on the net^^^
^^^didn't get the other memo^^^
I dont hate M-1, I hate the fact that they insist on co-promoting with fedor for his next 3 fights. After that he will be in the UFC. In the mean time he needs to clean himself of his M-1 contract. The M-1 challenge is good shit though. Needs to stick around.
