I had originally planned on purchasing the Glock, but when I went shopping today I saw the Sigma and have been giving second thoughts to the Glock.

    Opinions?

i'll also agree. sigmas are shit. smith has NEVER been able to make a polymer-framed pistol that was any good. even their normal autos aren't all that great. their wheel-guns are the only thing i'd buy.

Glock 21 is a .45, do you mean the Glock 22? And yes, by all means don't get a POS Sigma, stick with the real deal

I'll throw in a reccomendation for the XD40 as well, great price and mine has been totally reliable with about 1500 rounds thru it now, I own a Glock as well (9mm though) and it has been great also :bigthumb: I agree with everyone else, stay away from the Sigma

I have never heard of a Glock KBing with factory loads even up to +P+ . I have shot 200 rounds of 124 gr +P+ Rangers through my Glock with no problems whatsoever. The only reports of KBing come from people who double load the powder on their reloads.
