This could be a dumb Q but what is the purpose of alternating high carb/low carb days?
I just see PIZZA!! KFC!! WINGS!!
looks like carb cycling
you build muscle on the days with high carbs (calorie excess), and you burn fat the days you're eating low carbs (calorie deficit)
just starting it myself, and i'm enjoying the groove. Low carb days are mostly carbs from a small piece of fruit with every meal. It's keeping me from craving carbs so far..
although, i'm not sure about the refeed days...those aren't usually necessary in carb cycling due to your high carb days.
timber? sup with that?
The rules of macros don't apply to this immortal.
so for timber , refeed = cheat day?
is this the same as a recomp?
Glycogen supercompensation when several days of low carbs are followed by high carbs. At least that's the premise behind it. That was more of a recomp IMO. Since the beginning of june I've been following a 2-3 day low carb followed by a high carb day cut.
Pretty much along these lines:
For years though I followed a low carb diet without carb ups but looked pretty flat and stringy.
