What would you say your average spread is for a group at 100 yards?
I swear mine is like 5 or 6 feet. It's ridiculous.
I've never fired it at 100 yds since I've gotten glasses.
AK's arent really know for accuracy. Hell there bolt is off center which throws the gun pretty wildly when firing.
It also depends on how its being shot, freestanding, bench rest, prone, kneeling etc...

My saiga does about 4 inch groups at 60 yards.
At 100 yards? I would say about a 25 yard spread.
saiga != WASR
totally different animal
I was shooting a nice 1" group at 50 yards with my Saiga 7.62.
WTF are you doing?
Mine shoots minute of whale.
I have a WASR-2 and it's really not that bad. It consistently shoots about 2-3" at 50 yards with open sights. I can't shoot for shit at 100 yards with open sights but with a scope or red dot I'm pretty confident I could shoot 6" groups.
What's with all the WASR hate in here.

Wow, I didn't realize they were that innaccurate...
Something's wrong if you're getting more than a foot.
I'm going to put it in my new gun vise this weekend to double-check. I may just be doingitwrong.jpg
No the AK sucks balls at accuracy, just look at the bolt design and you can see why
It's not just intrinsic mechanical accuracy, nothing about an AK is conducive to shooting itty bitty groups. The sights (and sight radius) on them suck copious amount of cawk, the ammo that you feed them sucks quite a bit, and the triggers on them (usually) suck as well.
Not to mention old barrels, sketchy homebuilds, and people who can't shoot trying to make hits with them.
They are doomed from the start.
I thought they were best served by shooting straight into the air?
