Hey can you guys show me how to put some motion in my av, make the arm move
Photoshop. Crop the arm, generate a series of frames with the arm in different positions, and stitch them together into an animated GIF.
Then degrade the quality of the picture to almost nothing so it will fit within the paltry size allowed for AVs.
sounds tough is it a pain in the ass
does photo shop come with xp? I have mr. photo
No, you have to pay fucking loads for photoshop, I don't see why anyone would recommend it.. (unless you recommend pirating it)
edit: maybe you'll get a free 30-day trial with it or something. I dunno.
Thanks for offering an alternative.
Yea, maybe it's possible in the GIMP + the GIMP Animation Package (GAP), but I've never used it.
You have plenty to chose from, but if you can't afford Adobe's Creative Suite product and aren't a Linux user (GIMP FTW), try some of the offerings from Corel. And if you only want to modify your avatar, then most of the companies offer free trials of their products.
There is a Windows version of GIMP available.
