Is anyone one else going to the big gun show at the state fair grounds tomorrow or sunday?
I was thinking about going but it's going to 115 tomorrow
hrmm... you know, I probably should. I just got my big ass overtime check.
hahaha. so damn funny. I was actually thinking about that. Competition could be baaaaaaaaaaad though. I have a mortgage!
And I got you on the Saiga too
In for tiebreaker!
Maybe this weekend...
yeah, I can't even really think of anything in my price range that would beat you actually.
I'm not sure yet. Maybe something will jump out at me if I go to that show...
I thought about that, but if I'm gonna get a .50, I want it to be the L82A1 or the M107.
how's the recoil on it? I'll have to read up on it I guess.
I don't see an SA .50 on the cobb site...
found a coupon for the gun show if anyone is going!
I'm tempted to go just to get some wolf .223 and 7.62...
Not another one here in I guess all of Illinois til Aug 26th
there's one by me next friday..going for mags, maybe some ammo, any maybe a long gun or two
yeah... that sucked. The ONLY thing even close to a deal was some yugo underfolders for $425. There were 3 of them, and they sold out in about half an hour (the guy told me). $900 AKs... $3000 FALs... that place was a RIP OFF.
The ammo was ok I guess... 1000 rnds of wolf 762 for $149.
Total waste of money.
oh, and it was PACKED. You couldn't even really walk.
Our guns shows here in Belleville, arent very bad, you always have the guys that tries to get $900 for an "unfired" Mosin, or 900 for an unissued svt40 "sniper" that no way looks like it was unissued
That guys a fucking weasel
But for the most part most of the dealers dont put too big of a markup on the guns usually, and managed to get a 440 rd case of lightly corrosive mosin ammo for $44 (cheaper than in shotgun news before shipping)
And theres usually enough room in the building to walk at a slow/normal pace
Any deals on .45 or .223
.223 was the same price as the 7.62. The .45 was wolf, so I didn't care what the deal was , but I think it was like $58 for 500.
I'de use it in a $1200 pistol if I had one, it works flawlessly in all my others(ok well I haven't shot it in the 10mm but I havnt shot it yet does wolf even make 10mm? )
I wasn't a fan of wolf, from what I'd read online. Started using it in different guns, never had a single problem.
AK/AR/USP so far, all used it just fine.
$116 for 1000rnds of .45 seems like a good deal. I might have to go tomorrow and pick some up.
It's a tiny bit of a deal, yeah. Not great or anything, and the $12 for the show + $6 parking would have killed it. Plus I just won't use Wolf in my handguns.
