Would it be better to go for a used 20D over a Rebel?
used 20D > rebel
Btw, I know nothing about Nikons and have never played with one so feel free to learn me
I've played with 20,30, and 40D's several times and really want a thumb wheel
Never shot a Rebel but I don't really care for the way they feel in my hand. Looking to spend less than $400
for $400 total
start with a used D70/D70s in good shape
20d > d70 > rebel
My D50 will be for sale next week
You can get a clean 30D for $400 these days.
Just posted this in another thread. I'd be all over this deal:
The new rebels are garbage. Go for a used D70 or 20D
Ok wow, prices on 20D's and 30D's are cheap as hell
I've seen 3 20D's go for $315-325ish on ebay in the last day. I think thats what I'm going to shoot for
I loved my XTi when I had it, great value... until I got a 5D. You can get an XTi pretty cheap these days with a kit lens or the 50mm 1.8. Other lenses I'd recommend would be the Tamron 17-50 and the Canon 70-200 f4.
Full frame is where it's at if you are serious about photography. 5D prices are really coming down too.
Ok I spoke with a seller on the phone today. He has a 20D w/o a lens BIN on ebay for $325 w/90day warranty. He owns a repair shop and has cleaned the sensor and everything is working perfectly.
Is this a good deal? I've seen a couple of 30D's go for not a lot more but without any warranties
