I remember watching one of the first World's Strongest Man shows and they were talking about (Ken Patella and John Anderson I think it was) how strong barbell hack squats had made them and how well it carried over to strongman. I tried them today, but what the fuck? I don't get it. Is there a proper form for that shit, because when I did it, it didn't feel right. I hit my hamstrings and would get stuck so I would kind of thrust my hips forward tuck my ass in and pull till I was standing straight up. I could only manage 185, not because of a lack of strength but just because the biomechanics were all fubar. Any advice?
