What is your main motivation for working out?
we're just poll happy aren't we?
there's already plenty of other threads about this, reading responses > looking at percentages
oh no, sorry- is there a one poll limit per person? i'll stop now.
Because I see gains, gains keep me motivated. It tells me what I'm doing actually works and I benefit from it.
Then you got chicks on the other hand...=)
I put other because I have no motivation right now. dunno why the fuck I bother really.
I put self-esteem, and with that comes the ladies

nah it's really just to be in better shape, look better, keep me off my ass, stronger, and feel good about the way I look

When I first started going to the gym it was just for something to do, but as I continued the other factors started to come in to play.

I like to get stronger (but stronger than my friends? They could care less about being strong) than I have ever been.

Im gonna go with health, being stronger than those around me, self esteem, and stress relief.
health, look great, and definately feel more 'protective/bigger' (example: when i was fat and didnt goto the gym, i would used to get ugly mugs from wankers, since that i have been working out, the wankers dont mug now cuz im 'bigger' than him/them).
It seems to me that the bigger I get the more I find people running into me whether it is at a grocery store, playground (for my children not me) or restaraunt (but not at bars or clubs).
I enjoy the stretch marks and aching joints personally
