Why did I just find this out?
cause you live in a fucking spider hole?
It's much more expensive per gram of protein
Someone do the math
Jacklinks in Canada:
1oz = $3.99, per 28g serving:
1g fat, 5g carbs, 10g protein
Not exactly comparable to whey, in any way
Jalapeno flavoured jacklinks are cumtastic though.
i don't thik that's the case. the most i've ever seen in 20g of beef jerky is about 12g of protein. I haven't seen any whey with that low percentage.
it's good, and its a lean source of protein. But its not as much
this morning, i got a slim jim beef steak stick
150 calories, 3g fat, 22g protein. $2.50
not a bad morning snack.
i had the spicy thai yesterday
there's a starbank near my house that sells 80g bags for 3.99. they aslo got the tender cuts.
my favorite though... the buffalo chicken nuggets..
a bit more fat per serving, but OH MY FUCK.
paging synthetic to shit on your parade
"should have had dried tree bark mixed with raw antelope meat, dipped in bear shit"
I just threw up a little bit in my mouth just from remembering all that grease in that thing.
actually it was pretty dry. my freind got the original slim jim, it was alot greasier.
Aren't slim jims pepperoni sticks, not beef jerky?
Also salt FTL.
they are, but not the slim jim steak sticks
I haven't been able to find turkey jerkey at any stores around here
certain types of insects have a better protein ratio than steak chicken etc
doesnt mean yo ushould start eating them
or does it
locusts, grasshoppers and crickets are at the top for those. heck, locusts are have been used as emergency food by shipwrecked sailors for centuries.
it's good stuff man.
grasshoppers are good.
sour cream n onion crickets, mmmm
