instead GM ripped it's balls off and made a boring looking fast grand am
Im gonna get an 05 gto, and throw a whipple s/c on it
that is fucking hot!
meh looks about the same
or buy a GTO and buy a similar body kit that looks like that
would have sold alot more if i looked more like the concept
it's so bland
god they are so gay looking
Too bad GM, too bad
I was thinking the same thing, I would give my left nut for that car.
Why was the real one shelved?
because it's GM and they suck at cars
I mean really, other then the vette what do they have.......shit
I'm just waiting for them to mess up the greatness that could be the kappa platform (sky/solstice)
coke bottle FTW
Actually, no. All GM did was make a new bumper for an existing car that all they had to do was import. They would've had to raise the price by at least $15k to get the GTO to look like that.
But I agree, it is bland by today's standards of the 350Z, G35 coupe, new Mustang, Audi TT, RX-8, etc. All have way more 'pop' to the design.
yeah, actually the name kind of hurt the car too IMO, something with as much history as the GTO should not be on a rebadged aussie car
The interiors are real nice too from what Ive seen in pic....to bad I could NEVER roll that car
Calling it a GTO is a mockery of the name.
I like the GTO but the one that was originally posted is hot.
No, GM imported their Holden Monaro for Pontiac as cheaply and easily as possible.
The Ram Air 6 concept was created after the boats were already landing in the US. I agree though, it was a great idea that would have worked with the proper execution. The Ram Air 6 concept or Pontiac badged HSV GTO is the proper execution and they would have sold out FAST.
I like the 05 GTO...
this is good info, almost as good as it was in 2003 when these pics were new.,
those exhaust exits look a little out of place
