I was thinking of picking one up next weekend, anyone own one? Also is it less reliable then the 92?
Never had or heard of any chronic issues, the ones i've shot have always been reliable. i'd trust one. Actually pretty nice shooter, being such a big gun it really soaks up the recoil. Pretty mild next to the Glocks i'm used to.
i want one
I want one too but I opted for the glock this round. Next Spring I will get the 96 Brigadier(sp?)
does the brigadier use different mags than the standard 96?
i was thinking about getting a 92. i heard that 9mm cartridges fit in a .40 magazine. is that right or is it the oter way around? why would one do that? more magazine options? more carts. in a mag.?
If you could get 9mm rounds to function in a .40 mag, you'd certainly be able to fit more than 10 rounds into the magazine, and since the magazine was not altered from factory spec, it'd be legal to use and own.
i know the Springfield XD's will work this way, but i can't speak for the Berettas. i'll try it out next time we hit the range, never even thought to try it.
I've got a 96 Elite, with the 357 sig barrel on it I've had a few misfeeds. But the 40 feeds well no flaws at all. Considering buying a 92 Inox(sp?).
I like the stainless, I have looked at it, still not sure which one I want yet.
what's the difference between teh 9xfs and the the brigadeers?
heavier slide and or barrel i think
more stability and thus accuracy
