What would you guys say is the best GPS for car navigation at $500 or under?
on ebay there's a hp5550 with navman going on. i don't know how much but you not only get a kick ass pda but a gps at the same time. i personally prefer pda + GPS is because if you are stuck in traffic, you can at least play some games. the h5550 has 128 megs of built in ram so you can dump in some music, not a lot, so you can also listen to it.
I was thinking Garmin Quest. Anyone tried it before?
I just want a straight GPS (unless GPS+PDA is cheaper) I already have my ipod for music in the car
garmin ique 3600. I have it and can found on amazon for under 500 at times. I love it much better than any pda-nav system. Just make sure you get the car charger with speaker
right now i'm using a basic magellan on my family('s) sail boat, and I think it sells for somewhere around $200. I think they make a road map kinda version thing too. were you looking for a color screen or like a B&W (black and white) thing?
