Glosoli - Sigur Rós (Icelandic band)
I agree with you somewhat...but when the climax of the song hits...doesn't it wake you up?!
Whenever I want to be lulled to sleep by music, I always reach for 'A Storm in Heaven' by The Verve. Perfect music for drifting off.
or Treefingers on Kid A, always makes me so tired
I agree with you on a A Storm in Heaven, I haven't listened to that album in ages but I remember it being supremely chilled out and relaxing. I've found Pink moon by Nick drake to be quite relaxing before bed as well.
the whole Donnie Darko album...... i actually ripped my copy, and burnt a new one without the two songs with words in them at the end.
throw that in, you'll be out in no time.
Aqueous Transmission - Incubus
() by Sigur Ros is pretty sleep inducing too...
Bismillahi 'Rrahmani 'Rrahim

I've went to bed to Cradle Of Filth a few times.....
Oh and anything by Paatos (sp) is fucking great to sleep to!
Selected Ambient Works by Aphex Twin has always been a good one.
Bitches Brew by Miles Davis also.
I find soundtracks are usually better to sleep too IMO.
braveheart, Unbreakable, Lord of the Rings are my fav's i think.
I have the best dreams when I listen to LOTR - Return of the King soundtrack when I am falling asleep.

Anything by Bob Marley
Any type of smooth jazz
Any light classical stuff, mainly stuff that's played in minor
That's pretty much my general list, some of the songs are good and some are bad, but all are pretty chill and good for going to sleep.
