I want my users to be able to upload large (~700MB) files.

It doesn't need to be clean or have any frills. If they could just select the file from their drive and press upload and then have it say when it's done... that would be great.

Do I need to do this with PHP? Flash? Ajax?

Please be as detailed as possible. Thanks.

You could do it with PHP, but you'll have to change your upload file size limit with Apache. You can also do it with Flash. I believe with out changing the Apache httpd.conf. Someone ese please chime in if I'm wrong.

Yeah... that's what I figured. I was thinking of doing it with flash. The problem is I suck at flash so I'd have to download a tutorial on how to do it.

Is there anyone here who could code me a really simple flash upload form that has a progress bar on it? I'm not sure how complicated it is to do that... I'd probably be willing to pay for it.

Something like this wouldn't exactly be a simple flash uploader. Look around for flash uploaders. You might be able to find some. Most of them will cost some money though.
