how many miles does a bike usually get..150,00 maybe
I get ~150miles out of a tank before the reserve light comes on. I've never ran the bike until empty before, last thing I want to do is to push a 400lb bike to a gas station.
yea i was talking like how many total before the engine like dies you know? like a car its like 150,000 maybe 200,000 if you treeat it well
That depends on the type of bike and how it is being maintained. I know a couple of Goldwings that have close to 200k miles, and one GSXR with over 50k miles.
my battery once died at the gas station... everyone was looking at me while i was trying to bump start it
yep everythings been covered, take care of it and it will outlast your car
I have seen 99 R1 with well over 200,000 miles on it, and still ran great.
Maintenance is the key of course
Sportbikes are usually wrecked by some stupid squid before they hit 30k.
My buddy has 88k on his R1, one engine rebuild. Runs SOLID
I've put 14k on my 04 GSXR 600 in 12 months. Still running the SAME it did when I picked it up, and I'm about to turn 18k.
