Console. I originally played it on an XB1, then later on played it again (but only for maybe 6-8 hours) on Series X, which is enhanced at 4K 60 FPS.

I barely do any PC gaming anymore.

yeah console controls + performance + no console commands just makes it a much worse experience all around

fallout 4 on survival mode is the single most immersive experience i've ever had with gaming.

In terms of most immersive experience, for me it would have to be Subnautica. I think it's the only time a game ever made me feel genuine dread.

I only wish I could have actually played it in VR. That would have driven the immersion to insane levels. Unfortunately it was as nausea inducing as it was immersive. :hs:

lol i avoided those videos for soooooo long until one day i clicked one and i’ve watched them ever since. low key one of the most down to earth reviews of popular games that just gives you plainly what they like and dislike.

Jake is definitely my favorite game reviewer at this point.

when he starts off he will preface if they’re big fans of the genre or studio or IP to give the heads up that it may seem bias. i have never played destiny but i watched his whole destiny before you buy for the new one. he admitted he and the bros played when it first dropped but haven’t played any of the newer expansion packs. he always mentions performance, any bugs they found and just overall how much fun they had. also if he likes a game he will compare it to other games in the past that he liked.

not sensationalized and gameranx seems to be small enough that i feel that they’re genuine with their reviews and not trying to buff up some sales for the studio bc they got a free copy.

Maybe you should do a review series that reviews game reviewers

I get not liking the thumbnails (they are kinda weird), but some people are really taking that shit personal on a deep level! It's just a goofy thumbnail, and if anything, always instantly recognizable.

I keep bouncing off of games after an hour of playing right now, nothing's really grabbing me.

I started Prime, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Cursed to Golf and Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin all this week. Probably gonna stick with SoP, I'm enjoying it the most and the main dude is cracking me up everytime he says anything

This games fucking hideous on performance mode though, looks like shit god damn. Everything is aliased and the shadows look all jagged and keep popping in and out during cutscenes

SoP looks fun. Like the video game equivalent of a so-bad-it's-good movie
