My equip load is well below 25% and it's still super tight for me. It feels like it's almost luck based, but I know it's probably just me being slow off the draw.

i might just be good at that timing, i dunno. it's just that the basement is seared into my memory there. i always feel compelled to clear it out too even though you don't really need to. i don't mind the boulder part though.

Bit late to the party on this one, but the Leviathan boss battle in the Dead Space remake was the tits. Zero G implementation was absolutely perfect for this.

all games starting off with cutscenes is just such fucking trash, that needs to die and die quickly. i put darksiders 3 on my steam deck to give this one a shot again. fucking FOUR cutscenes before the game starts. absolutely 0 / 10 way to start off a game. if you must have a cutscene (game devs: you do not EVER need cutscenes) early in the game, put it after at LEAST an hour of gameplay. better yet: figure out how to tell a story in a game that doesn't involve passively watching some boring ass bullshit.

Apparenty the steam and Microsoft store version are different.

Microsoft store version has Xbox cross play, and is less glitchy.

those aren't lies lol, people always take todd's quotes out of context. like he's looking at a mountain and says "see that mountain? you can climb it" so people assume that means you can climb any mountain, which is a silly assumption to make. the mountain he was pointing to could absolutely be climbed up. trying to say that a game having a boundary to the map means you can't go anywhere is fucking absurd, do people expect games to have infinitely large maps? how would that be a good thing? skyrim DOES have infinite quests, but how do you expect infinitely generated quests to be unique or meaningful? do people just not know what infinite means? of course an infinite quest generator is going to create a bunch of short, easy, filler quests. that's why a system like that would be created.
