:hsd:

zombie on my other arm has a little bit, but not as bad as this one.
Seems like every time I look closely at it, I see more gone.

Anything I can do to prevent this? is it something I'm doing/not doing, or is it my skin not agreeing with his black ink?

looks like it didnt heal right. most of the times if i get an area that scabs after the scab falls off that spot will be lighter than the rest.

its not ink "falling out".

go to your artist and have him touch it up.

mind if i ask how you took care of it during healing stage?

What works for me that is really simple is this routine:
Get home from the shop
Take a shower, during the shower I let BLAZING hot water run over the tattoo. It hurts like a bitch but it helps to pull out the clear fluid your body makes. I let the water run over it for about 20-30 seconds
Wash with dove soap
30 more seconds of blazing hot water
LIGHT coat of aquaphor
do this twice a day for 3 days
then for the next 2 weeks I wash with dove and the hot water, pat dry, and then apply a super light coat of Curel.

My backpiece heals up perfectly after every session.

yup, pretty much my routine. although i think its all in my head and sticking to something simple like lubriderm is just as good.

^^ That is an amazing tattoo

sure is. one of my fav pieces posted on here.

when i see it i get sad that im running out of room for large pieces :wtc:

I've always used A&D ointment and thought you're supposed to keep it constantly moist for two weeks so it doesn't scab. Is this wrong? I did this with three small all black tattoos and they healed well.
