still up in the air. any people have experience with the s710a?
If I were you, I'd go for the S710.
I know you've probably heard this befoer, but the RAZR lacks features. Sure it looks cool, but that's about it. Coming from somebody who owns two Moto phones, it's just not worth it.
On the other hand, the S710 is a great phone. Better camera, swivel design, and IMO, a better screen and great features. I don't have either, but I've used my friends RAZR and another friend's S710.
I'm in the market for a new phone, and the W800's what I want, but I don't have an extra $500 around, and Cingular doesn't carry it, so I can't get a discount (my two years just ended, I can renew and get the cheap phone prices.)
Just my two cents.
woah. are u telling me the RAZR is not able to receive calls? or is it not able to make calls? does the keypad not work?
it does all of these things? ok... so, what features is it missing? last i checked, it was a PHONE.
i bought the razr when it first came out, loved it. its a great phone w/ big easy-to-press buttons. i switched to the s710a when every faggot in the world decided they needed one. i like the s710a more. the screen is pretty amazing. the only thing i hate about it is the damn buttons are too small. makes texting and entering numbers a pain. if you have stubby fingers and want a simple phone that looks cool, go with the razr. if you want upgradable memory for mp3 ringtones, better screen, cooler features, go with the SE s710a
the razr feels weird when you're holding it to your ear for a phone call.
the s710a feels cheap, and the menu is hella slow.
get the new nokia
When I say the RAZR lacks features I mean its a phone and a camera, and really nothing more. Sure theres the mediocre calendar and calc, etc, but that's about it.
I like the interface (or OS or whatever you want to call it) and screen of the Sony alot better. Most Motorola's run on that OS, and it's just not the most technologically advanced thing out there for such an expensive phone.
Sony for sure
integrated antenna (so, no external one)= tons of dropped calls and bad reception.
And, for its price tag (200ish, right?) it better do more than send and receive calls.
Compared to todays phone market, it Lacks features.
Thanks guys for the opnion and comments i went ahead with the s710a just had alot of more "features" should be here tomorrow.
You are joking right? Have you even used a V3? I'm guessing no.
Good, the s710 is a much better phone. The v3 is horrible.
