But it's out, few days early also.
No pre no care
what is pre?
been playing for awhile now. Dialogue is funny as hell .need to get new powers soon, starting to get bored of the ones i have.
The time that stuff gets added to the scene.
Basically if it doesn't pre, I don't treat it like a legit release, because anyone worth respecting in the community can get group to pre it for them.
No pre = comes from some no-name, could be real, but I'll pass.
If it stays on blackcats it's usually legit. All that 'pre' business is over IMO.
whats so good about this game other than jack ass black?
seems a little over rated.
I thought the same until I played the demo. It's fun.
Until you get banned for playing a review copy. Then you'll reconsider where you're getting your games from.
Yup and especially with us being about 2-3weeks from ban wave 09. If it's not from a scene group with decent previous releases I pass. This is probably from p2p sources too.
Nah dude - back when I was on there I got a buncha hacked games. Mainly Guitar Hero shits, but they'll keep anything up.
game is from xbox360iso and the guy who released it got it off craigslist, he posted a photo of his box/disc.
Anyways i likes the game a lot.
supposedly this guy also got forza 3 early. he says he is releaseing a new game on october 20th.
i thought it would suck but i tried the demo. its funny and the gameplay is allright. unless it gets too monotonous, it could be a quality hack n slash
felt the same. I need to get new powers. But the game is interesting, great soundtrack.
Gonna patch this and play on old xbox.
so even if a game passes stealth and is verified under agbx, it could still be a hacked game?
even though it passes stealth, I still would not risk going online. games doesn't come out until tuesday so i wouldn't risk it.
oh i know
but i mean a 'scene' release vs an early release copy that someone got their hands on or a 'pre' copy.
as long as abgx says it's stealthed AND verified, that copy should be okay right to play right? (abgx only verifies it once the actual release date is passed anyway)
no need to grab another 'scene' release or something?
Uncharted 2 is already out in some shops here, so if M$ bans people based solely on playing a game early, that's not right.
They don't, and that's not what this discussion is about.
Once a game get's added to ABGX's database we trust that it is a retail copy.
If you were to download a review or beta copy of a game and run it through ABGX before the retail gets put in the database ABGX would not be able to tell the difference, it would throw the same yellow "Stealth Passes but is not verified" errors as every other game. Once the retail comes out if the release you really indeed have was beta or review it would still get patched with the same SS and DMI from the retail game, the only difference is it would have a different Date Of Mastering. You can check that date in the ABGX terminal window. Some people say that patching an early DOM with retail SS/DMI throws even more flags up to Microsoft than just playing the early DOM itself. Which makes sense to me but who really knows.
With that said, I have no idea why ABGX doesn't check the DOM itself.
If I remember correctly Madden 10 for sure and maybe NFS:Shift had early DOMs released before the retails.
