I'd buy it if I had the money
Should be sold to a museum, never driven....and probably couldn't be driven without lots of shit replaced under the hood.
someone is buying it too
I love it when people try to sell cars like that. It has 9 miles over 20 years. Every seal in that car is rotted, you cant drive it. Its just there to look pretty.
This particular car IIRC has been expertly maintained over the years - dedicated owners. Last time this particular car was sold was in 2004 / or 2003 - and fetched $89k
1 of 547 ever made and one of the most amazing American cars ever made, you'd better believe it's worth some serious cash.
Those cars will be going for double or triple that in five years.
i would drive the hell out of it.
And I wish I had bought one for $25k ten years ago when I had the chance.
What the hell is so special about it? (besides only making 547) It's ugly as fuck.
was that a rusty caliper I saw???
looks just like my grandmother's
cars are meant to be driven
auction says never titled
beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
in your case, you're just a blind troll...
No trolling at all, it's ugly as sin... I see absolutely nothing special about it next to the fact only 500 so were made and it's incredibly low mileage.
1987 Buick Grand National
We test a Buick Regal Grand National that weighs 3520 pounds, is shaped like a dishwasher, and makes an advertised 235 horsepower. Somehow, the car blasts to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds - quicker than the just-tested Countach. We ask Buick what the car's actual, you know, real-life horsepower rating is. Buick asks what the definition of "is" is.
July 2005 Car and Driver 50th anniversary issue
the looks of a car doesn't make it special. the uniqueness of a vehicle IMHO is categorized by it's production number [rarity], effect on the market, historical value [ie has buick made another production turbo car?] etc.
And your point is....
Fuck. If I had the money, I'd buy it. Sexy!
to be fair, the turbo corvairs never gained this cash, neither did the turbo pintos.
