i don't mind waiting if the one from amazon is better. no need to rush the AIO if either of those aren't as good.

don't get MSI though, forgot to mention. THey have some problems.

Corsair is decent and depednable just kinda pricey. You can typically get theri stuff in person at best buy

i just got back from the store, the guy told me 'the 850x power supply is a bit conservative for the other components you have' and i told him i wasn't adding a GPU at the moment, i'm waiting for prices to drop and i'll get a new power supply if/when i decide to buy a GPU.

850W is plenty. You aren't getting a stock i7 and any stock GPU anywhere near max output of an 850W PSU. Unless you're using both to render.

I have an i9 10900K with power limits disabled and a 3080Ti. The only way I can get it to use more than 650W is if I run Prime95 small FFTs and Furmark at the same time. And pretty much the only point in doing that is to see how hot the coolant will get. Gaming loads are closer to 500W.

3000 series GPUs were known to exhibit transient high power spikes so larger PSUs were recommended so there wasn't a risk of the PSU shutting down. 4000 series don't seem to exhibit the same spikes.

i believe just around $1600 let me go through my list and make sure i didn't miss anything. that's also not including shipping/tax which i don't include because that can vary for others. i didn't buy everything online or from one place.

7900XTX at $999 (impossible to find)
7900XTX at $1400 scalped (not worth it)
4080 at $1200
4090 at $1699 (impossible to find)
4090 at $2000 scalped (not worth it)

The 4070 ti sucks relative to those parts, but its not worth buying a new 3080 10gb for about the same price
and it might be more desirable for streamers or whatever for the NVidia features vs amd

4080 is also $1200 without markup

If the 7900XTX were actually available at $999 it would be the value king. $200 cheaper, basically the same performance.

And if the 4090 were actually available at $1600 it would also be the high end king of value
