Yup, there it is.i'm going to hold off on a GPU, for now.
not much of a gamer, but that might change, who knows.

don't get MSI though, forgot to mention. THey have some problems.ok, either of these two that are in stock or wait for the one from amazon?
@the_antsy_honda
i don't mind waiting if the one from amazon is better. no need to rush the AIO if either of those aren't as good.

Corsair is decent and depednable just kinda pricey. You can typically get theri stuff in person at best buy
Was just sayin; Corsair isn't bad, just overpriced, but the benefit is its local availability.it was MSI and asus, not corsair.
i'll just wait...

Classic upsell@the_antsy_honda
i just got back from the store, the guy told me 'the 850x power supply is a bit conservative for the other components you have' and i told him i wasn't adding a GPU at the moment, i'm waiting for prices to drop and i'll get a new power supply if/when i decide to buy a GPU.

@the_antsy_honda
thanks for everything, you answered everything and helped out a lot, much appreciated.
@Smahatma thanks for the helpful information as well. i was minutes away from buying the mobo w/o 10gb. basically, thanks for getting me to spend more money.
there may have been some others, sorry if excluded you.
Classic upsell
What does that feel like
I have a thread for this that would have been a good place to ask, lots of activity there with different users
@the_antsy_honda
this is what i get for not buying this yesterday
no longer in stock. i buy that and wait until feb 18th or is there something else simiar?
also, can i turn off RGB stuff on this?
850W is plenty. You aren't getting a stock i7 and any stock GPU anywhere near max output of an 850W PSU. Unless you're using both to render.yeah, but to be fair, even if the 850 would run a decent to good GPU, i just hate stuff being on the border. because if something happens, even if it isn't related to the power supply, i would always think it was the power supply.
it's not like what he told me was unreasonable.
It seems in stock to me
EDIT: your motherboard has a CPU fan connector and an AIO watercooler connector (so the motherboard can control the pump by itself).
@TomDlgns how much did your rig cost?
the problem is that your new options are:
4070ti at $840
7900XT at $860 (best value actually acquirable card)
7900XTX at $999 (impossible to find)
7900XTX at $1400 scalped (not worth it)
4080 at $1200
4090 at $1699 (impossible to find)
4090 at $2000 scalped (not worth it)
The 4070 ti sucks relative to those parts, but its not worth buying a new 3080 10gb for about the same price
and it might be more desirable for streamers or whatever for the NVidia features vs amd
Yeah, that's not the case here. It's all sold out.![]()

There's one showing for essentially $1600 USD ($2263 CAD)
