6-8 now for me.
when i was bulking i usually made a dozen eggs for breakfast each morning, in some various combination of whites and whole eggs.
usually 4.. thinking about upping to 6
is there a theoretical 'limit' as to how much egg whites only is too much?
not really, and 4 egg whites is a whopping 70 calories. i'm in my final weeks of cutting and down to a bare minimum calorie intake and i still eat more than 4 egg whites a day
better stay away from that yolk or you are gonna get fat!

i dont understand egg whites, they taste like pure semen so why not just go with the whole egg unless your counting calories?
I am not bulking, but I am mid-way through my cut. I usually have 6 egg-whites and one whole in the morning 5-6 times a week. I will also usually sprinkle a tad of low-fat cheese for flavor.
Anyway, I usually have 2 whole eggs and 4 egg whites for breakfast, and some oatmeal.
why not just go with the whole egg and get rid of the cheese?

If you are bulking, you mine as well use the whole egg. It does have more fat, but also more protein and nutrients by using the yolk, so if you are bulking you should def. be eating the yolk as well.
However, for cutting, by getting rid of the yolk if you eat eggs in quantities of 6-8 like many of here do, you save a very good amount of fat and a decent amount of cal's without sacrificing too much protien by using only whites.
If you think whites taste like ass, do what I do. Add 1 whole egg (that one yolk will go a long way with flavor, trust me!) and throw in a small amount of low-fat cheese. Tastes the same as regular eggs with with much less fat, less cals, and still a good amount of protein. Hell, I can stuff myself on 7 whites and one whole and all of that is less than 300 cal's, only 3 g's of fat and 25g's of protein.
Cant beat it.
egg whites taste better than whole eggs to me
i dont think they really have a taste, its just the slimey texture that kills me so i just assume stick with the whole egg

Yeah i wouldnt eat raw egg whites in the 1st place, but even when cooked their still not too appealing
swole? I am trying to lose weight, I'm trying to get as much fiber and protein as I can get.
Is there any advantage to consuming the eggwhite raw? I've got no problem in doing so. One of my favorite snacks:
3-4 eggwhites (raw)
splash of Tobasco
(shaken, not stirred)

Obviously, a chemical reaction takes place when the whites are cooked. I can only surmise that heating complex molecules like amino acids breaks them down. I have my doubts about how useful those would be to the body.

Egg proteins contribute substantially to the daily nitrogen allowances in Western countries and are generally considered to be highly digestible. However, information is lacking on the true ileal digestibility of either raw or cooked egg protein. The recent availability of stable isotope-labeled egg protein allowed determination of the true ileal digestibility of egg protein by means of noninvasive tracer techniques. Five ileostomy patients were studied, once after ingestion of a test meal consisting of 25 g of cooked 13C- and 15N-labeled egg protein, and once after ingestion of the same test meal in raw form. Ileal effluents and breath samples were collected at regular intervals after consumption of the test meal and analyzed for 15N- and 13C-content, respectively. The true ileal digestibility of cooked and raw egg protein amounted to 90.9 ± 0.8 and 51.3 ± 9.8%, respectively. A significant negative correlation (r = 0.92, P < 0.001) was found between the 13C-recovery in breath and the recovery of exogenous N in the ileal effluents. In summary, using the 15N-dilution technique we demonstrated that the assimilation of cooked egg protein is efficient, albeit incomplete, and that the true ileal digestibility of egg protein is significantly enhanced by heat-pretreatment. A simple 13C-breath test technique furthermore proved to be a suitable alternative for the evaluation of the true ileal digestibility of egg protein.

1 potatoe pancake
3/4 cup of oats
1/2 cup of cottage cheese
1/2 cup of ff yogurt
1 cup orange juice
1 cup raspberry lemonade
2 cups green tea
So you know what pure semen tastes like huh?
