It seems like all my money goes to food.
it probably is. thats where my money goes.
buy foods in bulk = saving lots of money
Steel cut oats too @ 600 cals per cup
i use to get 15 lbs of steak for 25 dollars huge hook up at my butcher, like 5 lbs of ground beef, for 8 bucks, dude just find someone that works in a grocery store that can hook you up or a butcher shop, thats what i did and it cut my grocery bill to like a quarter what it use to be.
I work part time at a grocery store. I am gonna take to some of the butchers.
Steel cut oats look kinda gross...never had em before
stock up on shit when its on sale. i buy chicken breast for less than a buck per pound but it still has bone and skin on it, no big deal, rip the skin off and cook it. tuna can be had 3 cans for a buck, whey is cheap, oats are cheap, eggs are 99 cents a dozen. its not that expensive unless you're eating out a lot or you need to have expensive ass cuts of beef and shit.
What kind of oats do you recomend? Im assuming they are for shakes.
i dont put oats in my shakes but some people do. i just buy the big ass boxes of quaker oats that have 2 bags in a box, each bag is as big as 2 of those tubs most people buy. old fashion slow cooking oats, or get steel cut oats if u want, i dont like the way they taste though.
How do you prepare your oats?
How do you guys get tuna so cheap? Three cans for a dollar would be amazing.
i eat em raw. sometimes i put em in a bowl and pour milk over them just like it was cereal, once in a while i throw a scoop or two of whey protein in there too and mix it up and eat it. its good.
its not always that cheap here but when it is i stock up. and this is the regular tuna not the white albacore im talkin about.
So it is basically the quaker oats? Gonna get some today
I can't wait for my bulking to end, and cheaper living costs is just one of the reasons.
Man up and eat them raw. Chase em down with milk = teh win this saves me hundreds $$$ every month.
hmmm.. ive been adding water and microwaving. is there any nutritional difference between raw and cooked?
yea best place to go is costco saves you alot of money and u get alot more for the buck
