Which do you believe takes/needs more commitment?
cutting by far. i can shovel food in my mouth all day long, cutting suckssss.
I agree, eating is so much easier than not eating, well for me it is
Cutting. I can drop weight easily but doing it in a way that I maintain muscle and strength is tough.
Bulking I may have to eat enormous amounts of food but strength and size gains are not too difficult to achieve.
Maintaining is obviously the easiest.
For me while cutting may be tedious, bulking takes more commitment.
Pretty much forcefeeding yourself though you don't like the way you look at all for those months.
Not all of us have to forcefeed. We just have to eat how we want. and even then, thats too much. :-x
I had trouble w/ bulking back when I cared about what I look like. I'll have a problem with cutting because I'd rather not lose what little size I have gained
i'd say bulking, its hard to let yourself go and start to see your bodyfat increase, in terms of the diet cutting might be more difficult, but mentally, bulking is...for me at least
bulking is incredibly hard compared to cutting for me. I have a very small appetite and can barely eat 2500 calories a day. The past couple weeks I've been forcefeeding myself everyday to try to maintain 4000 cal/day. I dont know how long i can keep it up im starting to get sick of eating so much
Bulkign is a lot harder. Its hard for me to gain, I get fat, bloated, farting, shiting all day. My stomach sticks out like i'm pregnant due to the massive amoutns of food i stuff in there.
bulking is hard to eat the right amount of food, cutting is too hard because I like to eat
depends on if you are an ectomorph or endomorph...as an ecto, I find bulking takes the most work.
For me cutting is harder than bulking just because you have to be exact with the amount of calories you eat. That means weighing my food and logging everything I eat.
bulking is more difficult for me
i was always a fatty and ate above or maintain level of cals. but bulking clean is also difficult task for most folks. bulking dirty is so simple and easy

Cutting is much harder mentally, when bulking as long as you're smart you can eat tons of food and feel great and go lift heavy weights.
Cutting also has to be planned out carefully and cardio fucking sucks.
bulking. I don't mind being hungry, i even like it sometimes. But bulking its just takes too much to shovel all that food down your throat even if you are not hungry. And most of the time i bulk with foods i don't really like so...
