I can has someone's apple hook up?
help an OG out!
go to your local community college
get ID card
drop before paying
take ID card to Apple and enjoy $200 off and discounted apple care
Yep. That's about it.
College/University student discount is the way to go. I am planning on buying a MBP in the fall as well hopefully
student developer discount ftw.
saved $950 on my Mac Pro.
Buy it online and say that you go to school. When I ordered my laptop, they didn't ask for a college ID or anything. They pretty much just take your word for it
They didn't ask for my student ID at the apple store when I got my macbook
When I bought my other laptop there, they asked me what college I went to, and that was it. They didn't ask for ID
(I buy a lot of laptops I guess)
when i bought my macbook, they wanted to know the college and the zip code for the college. i had no idea what the zip code was
if you buy online, they don't check anything, just lie
wait till the end of summer so you can get a free ipod
They asked me the same, and asked for ID. I looked for "it" and couldn't find "it". They gave me discount anyway..
However I have a friend or two that didn't get the discount because they didn't ahve an ID.
I can get a student discount no problem, I'm going to college.
I'm hoping for an Apple Employee hook up like i used to have
I used one already... not sure if they track it by college or SSN/name.
I forget you people dont remember i'm original Apple OG Crew #1 President. Worked at Apple when it wasnt the hotness it is now with all the bandwagoning.
Apple II green screen all up in yo faces.
I've been using my student discount to purchase stuff through Apple, even though I haven't been a student for years.
Nobody seems to check on this stuff.
The employee discount for friends is the same as the education discount. Unless they don't use their single 25% discount on a machine for themselves, then I guess they could do it
