How did I do?
Its actually 3 images put together in photoshop.
taken with a nikon d50 18-200vr lens.
Looks nice, the green brings nice contrast. The clouds also have nice motion that leads your eye to the building.
Where is that?
very nice, except for the very noticeable dark halos around the bright parts
nice, i like the green water, good composition, don't like the halos on the top lights though
It was taken at Atlantis down in the bahamas.
Good call on the halos, I didn't even notice them?
Any tips for preventing these in the future?
I can probably get rid of them with photoshop, amirite?
I fucking hate you...just because you went to Atlantis.
the halos can be removed using photoshop and the only way around it is to edit it in photoshop before posting again. it's just the different layers of lights showing when you merged the 3 images together. no biggie.
I thought the halos were introduced from usm with too strong usm with large radius... if it's from merging the pics together it may be more difficult to deal with
the building could be sharper.
I REALLY wanna take the wife there
this is three vertical pics stitched, not three combined to get one image.
1 | 2 | 3
like a panoramic, not an HDR.
looks great, wonder if it could be better with no clouds?
looks cool, the building seems a bit blurry in parts, particularly in the middle of the second building from the left. Maybe it got fucked up in the stitching process.
The water looks really cool though
Been there and swam in that pool
slides were so much fucking fun.
i'm uploading the rest of my vacation pics now. will post later.
please do. shoot a pm when you do.
