Might go and look at this car this weekend...136k miles, $5600...I always loved this body style Eldorado...What are OT's thoughts?

I've had 5 Eldorados (earlier models) in the past and loved every one of them...

Dont forget the vinyl top and yellow pinstripe wheels :o

The old ElDo and STS were pretty nice.

Nice cars. Make sure the doors and windows line up correctly and seal. Also check the exhaust when you cold start to see if it blows any smoke. It should also run and idle smoothly.

Careful. If that's a Northstar, you could be in over your head with that mileage. Nothing on those engines are easy to fix, and they're notorious for blowing head gaskets. Check the coolant, make sure the guy has kept up on using dex cool. Ask for maintenance records if he has them.

Exactly. I'm a GM guy, but when Caddy went FWD, Lincoln really is the way to go.
