I know about the powerlines. I don't want them cloned out.
Whats the UFO ball in above the power lines?
it's one of those plastic balls you see on power lines. There's actually a powerline there, it's just harder to see with the resized image.
At first glance, I thought it was a mushroom.
it keeps pilots from wrapping themselves up in the power-lines.
Is that a *panograph? Or a wierd crop?
Edit: Panorama. lol
Panograph is a machine tool. Sorry.
i love dams. any from the front?
I see a lot of blown out, or nearly blown out skies in B&W photography.... is that supposed to be part of the "style"... extreme contrast?
I can't make up my mind if I would have wanted to see a sky in the above picture or not.
Edit: I can see a little sky on the left.
It was early in the morning, up in the mountains... fog+overcast skys. I could have did like I did in my barn shot and meter for the sky and underexpose the ground then meter for the ground and merger them in PS... but I was being hassled by yuppie harley bikers and wanted to leave
not without hiking, and we were just passing through here to get to another spot to hike.
it's a pano. 2 shots. I think I'm going to print this @ 30x60
