thanks in advanced.
well Maines routine specified scap retractions.
And Im gonna need a better description of face pulls. Are you seated? Bent over? standing?
rope face pulls: http://www.weightliftingdiscussion.com/facepull.html
^ the best!
given me a lot more stability in my shoulders and consequently has made my form better on other lifts and reduced occurrence of shoulder pain after others... but also pushups and foam roller helped greatly.
i actualy prefer them seated on the floor with the lower pulley..for balance purposes..otherwise im leaning so far back i could be in the matrix..
I found the Vbar works a little better than a rope does, or you can switch off and use both.
Clay Lats... set up on a lat pulldown. From a standing position, put one foot up on the seat for stability. Pull the bar to your nose/forehead and squeeze. You should feel it in the yoke and lats.
Scap Retractions are here:
You can also do them on a chest supported row. Hold the bar at arms length and pinch your shoulder blades together.
