this local guy has one 10" in his VW beetle, but its plently loud for me, it set off the car alarm on the car next to us
of course a VW beetle is a tiny ass car
well, if I'm not mistaken, it's got more interior volume than my car though
Get a 10W7
im sure it'd be fine as long as you dont want to literally blow out windows
actually look, lol
Head/leg room, front - 38.3/44.1 in.
Head/leg room, rear - 36.1/27.2 in.
Head/leg room, front - 40.7/39.4 in
Head/leg room, rear - 37.2/31.5 in
not much bigger...
yes these are the exterior dimensions
Length/width/height 192.5/70.9/53.2 in.
Length/width/height: 161.1/67.9/59.1 in.
no im talking about the classic beetle
sure, the right sub in the right box will be plenty loud
oh damn... nevermind
does he have a trunk install?

I need at least a 12 for my taste. Got a 12" L7 now with 650 watts going to it and it's pretty loud. Not as loud as my 2 12" Infinity Perfects I had off the same amp (RF bd500.1) but I'm happy with it...for now.
what kind of music do you listen to greddy?
if you're into rock then it'll probably be fine, but if you like hip hop then i'd spring for a 12
yea see, I want to do an install... but my car has a factory 10" sub mounted in the rear deck... but I don't think that'd be enough, no matter what kind I buy
I just want like a 130dB system I can play ALL DAY LONG... is that too much to ask?
I remember seeing MC Hammers car at a show one time, reason it sticks out is because he had this great sounding system, and only on 10" sub
I had a single 10" in my old Jetta for the longest time setting off car alarms if that helps any. It all depends on how you set up your system.
IDMAX 10" or if the make a 10" bramha you'll be more than loud, especially if you port that bish.
honestly? everything... but driving, it's 90% hip hop
yeah, ive got one 10" ID sub in my jeep. I dont know why on earth someone would need more bass than that
it can be done..you'll need to take up some trunk space though. The stock sub's enclosure probably won't be enough for a high performance sub
I forgot for a sec you were from FL. You're gonna need a lot more than a 10". My grandma has a fucking 10" in her Delta88.
It can be done, just gotta spend some money to get a good quality sub, enclosure, and amp. I have one 12" and its pretty damn loud.
not a problem... but space is limited because the fuel tank is under that
EXACTLY... here's my friend Joe's old car...
and there's one behind my seat too...
no, cone area is pointless, swept volume is where it's at.
With a very good box design you can do anything. I had a single 10" Lightning Audio sub in my old CRX, it was louder than some peoples setups with dual 12s (shitty Best Buy "universal" boxes). I was probably close to 130dB, and it was nice and tight (especially compared to the previous sub, 15" in a 4 cu ft ported box). With a better sub I could have done alot more, but that one only had like .75" of peak to peak linear excursion.
