Through the viewfinder?
Since these guys probably won't answer it ... simply put, no. It's the same reason why you can't shoot video on an SLR.
You have a DSLR right?
Take it to the camera shop, tell them your LCD is broken and the only way you can take pics is to look through the viewfinder, and then ask if you can get a replacement FTW
depends on the camera
I bought a 1ds mark II so I could shoot through the LCD
Yes I have a D50
menu and scroll near the bottom for activate the LCD display
Nikon crew lolzor
I put a 5mm drill bit all the way through the middle of the screen.. has the nice pinhole camera effect when you look through it.
yeah, you have to upgrade to the newest firmware though like 1.35, make sure your batteries are charged before you do the firmware upgrade though or :Ownedd:
I think I just read today that Olympus is coming out with a DSLR with a live view display.
no dude..depending on you who ask its either a feature or a drawback
I think its the e-330 IIRC its a real nice idea, it uses two sensor, one for live view and one for normal pictur taking
What's this you say?? The Dell dude got arrested for pot on the moon!?!
I think older version of the E-330 has a 30s B+W live preview, they use the prism design that was originally part of the E-10/E-20 (had one - LOVED it).
whats funny is my mom asked the same thing when she got her d70.
"this this IS digital....right?"
Yes, Canon 20Da allows you to do this.
I was at a car meet a few weeks ago and some guys were handing me their P&S's to take pictures for them. They were looking at me like
I forgot about the whole screen thing
