Great price for a great lens! J&R is legit too. Not a shady gray market seller. I love mine. Snatch one quick before the prices go up and they're $800. :rolleyes:

been trying to sell it for awhile.. it is the version with the metal mount and "macro" on the side of it.. been trying to get $100 for it :o

EF 28-105mm 3.5-4.5 USM 58mm, good shape, works perfectly..

That's a good lens for $100. I had one briefly I got with a film camera and sold it on POTN for $120 or something in 5 minutes.

I always hear that for this range, excluding the 70-200 2.8 IS II, this is the sharpest Canon makes
I've always heard it was the sharpest of any of the 70-200 breed, but never really put much stock into it. They're all super sharp and the only real difference you'll see is if you're a pixel peeper, which I'm not.

I've heard the f/4L IS is supposed to be sharper and have better bokeh (because of different blades used when it was redesigned) than the non-IS.
