Nikon has Nikkor 18-200 VR, does Canon have its counter part?
28-300mm L IS USM
yeah, those lenses certainly do it all, including induce hernias and slipped disks.
Yeah, I meant that literally. Seriously, who would want to walk around with a 28-300L as their only lens?
those that don't have room for a full lens aresonal
those that can't allow dort or moisture into the camera
those that don't have time to switch out lenses
and its shorter (condensed) and only .2lb heavier than the 70-200IS
overkill for many, sure, but it is a decent lens with a lot of practical application, but in specialized areas
That's why we buy a 2nd body!
I couldn't imagine walking around with a 28-300L as my "walkaround" lense. Personally, I don't mind carrying an extra body around just because the convenience of not having to switch out lenses > the extra weight.
what is this lense you speak of?
Does such a lens exist
that sounds pretty sweet
your wallet will love you aswell
but it is white
2100, 1800 used
70-200 is 1500, 24-105 is what 1200, so you get a longer zoom range in 1 lens, though not as good of image quality or quite as fast.
only $1000 more than the 70-200 I should have waited
those not looking to be pro
not if your 70-200 is 2.8.... its a really great range. 2.8 ftw
for 2100 new..
i would get a 24-70L 2.8 + 70-200L f/4 + 50 1.8 + 85mm 1.8
that will be almost a full set up right there
Those not looking to be pro would spend 2100 on a lens...riiiight.
yes it is and I was keeding
Don't you have a Nikon?
I missed the L part. I was thinking of a 28-300 Tamron lens.
