why would it be a problem is the real question that must be asked
didnt think it would be, but then again most stuff i think is fact turns out to be dead wrong. just making sure
I would stray away from anything like sprint work, as you're going to be a lot tighter than you normally would. At the very least, if you intend to sprint try and stretch in the morning and warmup thoroughly before training.
Simple cardio without a high intensity shouldn't otherwise pose a problem.
was this directed to me?
i skip cardio on leg days because it hurts my recovery. I do a lot of stretching aftwards which seems to help a lot also.
i didnt think it would, but wasnt 100%. i just wanted to make sure. my question was answered in the 2nd post, thanks though
Cardio done daily. Legs or not.
You can always do something cardio. If you did massacre your legs that day, skip rope, or row, but stay away from hill running or sprint work if it hurts too bad or your performance level is low.
jello legs = endless rope time
yeah, sprints or intervals should be done the same day as leg training
Impossible for me after a hard leg workout day. I just cramp like a motherfucker if i try to do cardio the day after
I did heavy legs yesterday and did a brutal spin class this morning.
My legs felt like Jello after yesterday and they are just dead this morning.
Suprinsngly, I also played some bball after spin and was jumping off the roof ???
I normally don't do spin after heavy leg days but it did not seem to affect my performance
