Cardio after leg day?

    Did legs yesterday and I'm decently sore today. Would it be detrimental to go for a bike ride today? Today is my offday but I've been slackin on the cardio lately and wanna do something.

    you should be fine, and stimulating blood flow to your legs may actually be a good thing as far as recovery goes

    I'd do it, I just wouldn't go that far of a distance or push myself as hard as usual.

    I do 3 miles of running after leg days. As for doing cardio right after doing legs, I usually have problems walking, so thats def. not gonna happen.

    while trying to build muscle and burn fat, what kind of cardio would you do?

    Depeding on the circumstances, it is easiest to do just one or the other. Obviously building muscle will burn fat in itself. I would limit my cardio and lift hard. Best way to burn fat while maintaining muscle mass is arguably HIIT.
