cardio: distance vs. time

    what if it takes 30 min to run 2 miles, should i be going for another mile?

    i heard 30 min is fine but 2 miles is not that much.

    that's a 15 minute mile.. if you're running that pace, something is wrong with your measurements. That's like walking pace.

    Oh wait, you're probably talking about treadmills, right? That's 4mph, which isn't that strenuous I don't think. Try to do 2 miles at a 5mph page, then try to increase the distance you run for 1 or 2 weeks. After that, try to increase the speed for 1 or 2 weeks.

    aim for 3 miles in 30 mins :)

    I never paid attention to miles on cardio machines :hs:
