Ok before I get the "do a search you flaming idiot" reply, I want to disclaim I have seen the discussion on ZEP this, BioKleen, Woolite mixture, SpotBot/Little Green Machine for doing your carpets. I know many people swear by these products, but these are always discussed in the context of cleaning the carpet while it is installed.
I am about to do a sound deadening project on my truck which will require removing the carpets completely from the truck. So here is my question, what are the better/best ways to deal with a carpet when removed, the same as if it was in the car? Also what can I do/what should I avoid doing? Hang it and hit it with a bat, hose/pressure wash, ect?
If it matters, this is a 2003 Dodge Ram with black carpet.
