How close of a grip should you use?
the closest you can without it hurting your wrists
I like to go outer chest width at the narrowest point
I put my index fingers where the knurling starts.
.... and elbows tucked right?
i go with my index fingers about 4" apart
I do what cavey does. I also wear my super cool wrist wraps
good, that's where they feel most comfortable..any closer and i dont think it'd feel right
Grab some db's and put them together lenght wise with your body...lift and repeat
lay down on bench and let your arms hang down. then bring your arms directly up, should be perfect position for your grip and elbows.
i put my arms straight out and paralell or a little closer sometimes
i usually put my hands so the outsides of them are about shoulder lengh apart...maybe i should start going closer.
try doing them with an easy curl bar
whats "qft"? im guessing 'quoted for truth' ?
please refer to thread about 2 months back where i freak the fuck out on some guy
you shouldn't use the knurling for indication as everyone is different in width and therefor should have a different grip. As a general rule the index finger will be about over you nips.
What kinda weight and reps do you guys use for close grip......
edges of smooth parts
