My bench is going nowhere I suspect due to the fact that I am not giving enough time for my tricepts to rest. 2 weeks ago I reduced the number of squat days from 3 per week to Monday (5x5) and Friday (4x8) only and already up 20lb (245x5 now). Been on the orginal Bill Starr routine for about 8 weeks prior. I loved it, it kept me in the gym, didn't miss a single day. Anyway, 2 weeks ago I made some changes, ditched pull ups for lateral pulldowns, and now: Monday: Squats 5x5, Deadlifts 5x5, Bench 5x5, Shoulder Press 5x5 (if I can get through all 5 sets ) Wednesday: Lateral Pulldowns 5x5, Good Mornings 2x12, Friday: Incline Bench 5x5, Squats 4x8, Tricep Extensions 2x12, Bent Over Row 5x5 Any suggestions on what else I could incorporate? I have a lot of room Wednesday Should I get a belt for squats/deadlifts?
