I have no clue.
Hell I would take a Festiva just to have fun.
my uncle just bought a 1990 rx-7 n/a for scca solo ii
There's a lot of MK1 MR2's floating around for 800-2200 bucks
1985 Cavalier Type 10 Hatchback. 2.0L 2bbl or 2.8 V6, loaded with stiff FE3 suspension, hatch creates more even f/r weight distribution.
I want cheap and fun somthing I can store. Cheaper the better. I don't want to be competetive just heve fun.
If your serious thats what I'm taking about. Cheap and fun. BTW hope you read last thread with ya (spit / cops) ment no harm ; like your view. Just not a Nissan fan.
2dr Chevette plus some sort of cheap Chevy 305 = teh win.
Irocs were great until the LS1's came into play. They get owned pretty badly now.
Do you want a stock, street prepared or prepared class car
I was thinking something stock, remeber I don't cra if I am in last place, just want to have cheap fun. My main theme is cheap upkeep. Cheap tires , parts , and so on. Keep the info flowing.
IB your an autocross addict
Believe it or not, there are tons of people out there who race Chevettes. Head to google and grab the first link that comes up.
TY I will read. Just wana trear up a beater and have fun.
If I had $5k I wouldnt think twice about buying this car
Sounds good but I'm thinking something more easy to maint, and less speed.(I may be the only one on OT thats says this but I have had limited driving training (police academy) so I don't want to over extened myself. Remeber cheap fun. Love the input though.
Hmm something like this. Stip it and rag it out.
You want a stock class car. Go to a autocross event and see what other cars everyone else is running. That way it will give you an idea of the competitive cars in each class.
And start saving up for tires. I was barely able to make it thru the season on two sets of kumhos
Don't waste you money on that pile of shit. You want something that will begin to get competive as your driving skills advance. Also don't do any mods until you know the rules of the class you are in. Some little mod could take you from a stock to prepared class before you know it.
Comes with bling hubcaps too hehe
I understand. I just want to run for fun (time is good but driving is better),
Yeah I know but with steelie and everything striped for $600 might be worth it.
