Want so much. Such a gorgeous gun.
I've been looking as well and nobody has them in stock around here.
awesome gun, not fun at the range...i promise your hand will hate you
have already shot one. cousin has one. just feel it would be a nice addition to the collection, and a nice thing to throw in a pocket. would hardly ever shoot it unless need-be
have fun shooting .357mag out of it
yeah it's a BITCH
i'd love this for a carry gun
Buds Gun Shop?
I have a Model 640 that I carry. I isn't bad shooting .357 out of it. I think it is only a few oz heavier.
I really want one too, but they're PRICEY for such a tiny little wheel gun.
My friend has he M&P model with the tritium front site. .357 loads are tons of fun.
A few ounces? The 640 is twice as heavy as the 340PD.
and larger in size too
You're right. 23oz vs 12oz. I personally didn't feel that much weight difference when carrying or shooting. My wife has the 637 (15oz) and it feels the same. It's 3/4 lbs. :/
The 340 is less than 1/2 shorter IIRC. No a big deal. I saved $450 by going with the 640. The added weight of the 640 should help some pansies shoot .357 without the pain.
I have the 340sc (same gun except color), found used for $600. Don't know if you have any local online classifieds that you can buy guns through, but I found mine on http://backpage.com
