I've been dieting on 2300 cals for quite awhile now. I haven't had a cheat meal since April 8th when my parents were in town. While they were here I pretty much ate everything in sight for 3 days, but have been really strict since they left. I also doubled my cardio in the last 2 weeks. Would it actually be beneficial for my metabolism if I were to have a cheat meal such as going to a buffet and eating everything I could possibly fit in my stomach? I've been craving carbs and sweets the last few days and it would be a nice mental break to go to golden corral and splurge. I know it won't hurt me in the long run, but is it actually beneficial or am I just trying to justify it to myself?
